Oh, Union/Pine! We absolutely love this place. I had been to a work event at UP a few years prior and never forgot the feel of the venue. Such clean lines and minimal industrial feel, but with the dark wood and stark white contrast it also feels so lush, cozy, and classy. We searched around at some other locations but ultimately we knew our hearts were at Union Pine and well, you know what they say, follow your heart!

Our friends at Schoolhouse Electric just launched their Fall catalog, which they were inspired to call 'Making Home'. Having spent the better part of the past 5 years of our lives carrying that motto near and dear to our own hearts, we were honored when they asked to feature Patrick and I in the Loft at Union/Pine, our home.

Association dinner returned on April 17th for a very special evening as part of Design Week Portland, and it was a beautiful night.

It's always so fun to see how our couples create totally different experiences for their big day, and we loved the flow that Kim + Kevin created. A ceremony up at Mt Tabor tapped into their love of the outdoors, and a quick bus ride (!!!) down the hill brought the party to us for dinner and a night of dancing.
