A Community Meal

Association is a chef and dinner speaker event centered around the idea of bringing people together over an incredible meal and a thought-provoking talk. From partners who are collaborating for the first time, to friends and colleagues who are connecting degrees of separation across the table, the evening is a delicious celebration of community that we host from time to time.

Association dinner returns on Sunday, April 23rd for Design Week Portland, with Peter Cho of Han Oak as our guest chef, and Mimi Lettunich of Twenty Four 7 as our keynote speaker.

The theme of the evening will focus on the drive behind so many design careers - an innate entrepreneurial spirit, and a deep passion for the practice.

[...] At each event, a different food/booze/dessert purveyor caters and a local person of interest gives a brief, casual talk. Discussion is encouraged, networking and introductions are easy in the intimate atmosphere, and dinner is served at communal tables that are conducive to such things. [...] read more »
