Their hope is not to be condemned to live in loneliness, excluded from one of civilization's oldest institutions. They ask for equal dignity in the eyes of the law. The Constitution grants them that right.

Start early, but don’t stress out about tackling it all right away. Chip a little bit off of the list every few weeks, and have fun with it together. The planning process is a huge bonding experience, so use it as an excuse to practice not stressing out together when you absolutely could be.
